There is an email marketing platform for everyone but not every platform is for everyone.
We suggest making a quick comparison sheet to choose the right platform for you.
Choose which of the elements to the left are important to you and then fill in the sheet with each of the options you are looking at.
Remember to think of your growth, and where you want your email list and email marketing to be in one year from now and in three years from now. It’s not hard to move platforms but if you can avoid it, that’s ideal.
Once you have picked your platform, you have two options to get it set up and ready. You can either work through the setup yourself (most platforms have incredible tutorials in their help manual), or you can hire someone to do it for you.
When you hire someone to help you, make sure that it’s not a virtual assistant who is not an expert in the platform. When you hire someone who is just “familiar” you are paying for them to research and learn as they go. Head over to the Facebook group of that platform or onto a gig/project website and search for people who have that platform as their expertise.
